Once, we receive your liner from the manufacturer, our liner installation crew will remove the old vinyl liner, clean the swimming pool walls and bottoms and then install your new vinyl liner along with new gaskets and face plates on all fittings to ensure a leak tight perfect fit that will make your swimming pool look like it was brand new.

The steps to replacing your vinyl liner is as follows:

  1. Life Aquatic Pool Service will come to the location of the pool and measure the liner for the correct sizing and pricing.
  2. We take a 40 point computer aided measurement of the pool. The liner will be custom made to fit.
  3. Once the pool has been measured and the pattern is selected, the customer will then provide a deposit for the liner order.
  4. When the liner arrives, Life Aquatic Pool Service will drain the pool of any existing water, debris and then remove the old liner. If the bottom of the pool needs any repairs it will be completed at this time.
  5. If the customer has wall foam or decides to add this feature this step will be completed and the new liner is then installed.
  6. Next, the liner will be cut in and the face plates and gaskets will be replaced.

Vinyl liners can last up to 10-15 years from time of installation. That depends on a range of different factors. Maintaining the proper water chemistry is vital to increasing longevity of your pool liner. How do you know when your pool liner needs to be replaced? Here are 4 signs that it is time to replace your liner. 

1. Your liner develops visible defects, such as cracks, tears or wrinkles, Stained, discolored, darkened or faded areas in your liner.
2. Your liner is faded. If your liner is faded to the point that you can no longer determine a pattern.
3. Your liner seems to be stretching out or falling out of the tracks in areas that you can actually see the pool wall.
4. Your liner may be detaching from the bead. The bead is what holds the liner in the tracking around the top edge of your pool.
